THIS IS WHAT YOUR WORKING DAY LOOKS LIKE

At our 23,000 m² company site in Borkheide, you will work in modern work areas and as part of a dedicated team. Your tasks will include

  • Optimal organization and structure of the warehouse, definition of minimum stock quantities, reorder points and safety stocks in coordination with production management
  • Optimization of stock levels based on planned production quantities, delivery deadlines, storage quantities, storage capability (in terms of duration, temperature, humidity, etc.)
  • Stock management, carrying out the annual inventory at the end of the year
  • Ordering/purchasing – mutual representation with colleagues in purchasing
  • Pre-assembly of material trolleys for production to ensure a smooth production process – together with the responsible production employee
  • Correspondence with suppliers – negotiating prices, payment terms in coordination with production management
  • Maintenance and constant updating of the WERBAS software for the warehouse/purchasing area
  • Regular (quarterly reporting) on the current price development in purchasing
  • Responsible for waste management
  • Acceptance of goods, liability for transport damage and production defects that can be detected in the visual incoming goods inspection, shortages or excess quantities compared to the order
  • Interface/collaboration with the Aftersales/Sales/Purchasing department

YOUR APPLICANT PROFILE

You are a structured and responsible person who likes to take on challenges and enjoys working in a dynamic team. Your strengths lie in a proactive and organized way of working, combined with a high degree of reliability and flexibility.

Your professional competence is based on a completed apprenticeship in warehouse logistics, purchasing or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you already have experience with warehouse management software, preferably WERBAS. In addition to your technical understanding, you have strong communication skills and good written and spoken German.

You are characterized by your initiative and ability to work in a team. Even in challenging situations, you maintain an overview and ensure efficient processes. Your interest in modern technologies and processes and your commitment to playing an active role in shaping them round off your profile.
